Horizon Energy Infrastructure (HEI) specialises in asset finance in the new energy world – looking at investment in energy systems that enable the transition to Net Zero. HEI has built its business since 2009 specialising in the provision of innovative and flexible meter financing solutions.

HEI works closely with all UK energy suppliers funding AMR, SMETS1 and SMETS2 meters.
HEI has been supporting UK energy suppliers in navigating the complexities of the smart meter industry since it’s inception. We offer full end to end MAP services, creating bespoke solutions based on a supplier’s needs.

We provide more than standard MAP services. We project manage, support strategy development and co-ordinate partners across key initiatives – such as smart meter programme commencement, introduction of new assets through to managing unknowns.
Through our separate business, Horizon Energy Ventures, we offer a sustainable alternative to upfront capital expenditure for the installation and operation of EV charge points, heating solutions and other energy related assets that support the transition to Net Zero.

HEI is wholly owned by Arcus Infrastructure, an independent fund management company focused on the telecoms, transport, and energy sectors, exclusively in the European market.
